What's the Difference Between Acai & Pitaya? - The Dragon Bowl Z

Hey Moberi Fam,

Ryan Carpenter, owner of Moberi, is back to show us how to make one of Moberi’s popular pitaya bowls, the Dragon Bowl Z! He also gave us a great explanation to one of Moberi’s most common questions: 

Acai is super healthy superfood from Brazil, while pitaya is full of antioxidants, boosts your immune system, and treats your skin well (not to mention its amazing flavor).

Let’s get started making one of our favorite Pitaya based smoothie bowls: The Dragon Bowl Z!

Pitaya Base Ingredients:

  • Pitaya
  • Pineapple
  • Frozen Strawberries
  • Fresh Banana
  • Apple Juice

Toppings:

  • 1/2 Cup of Organic Granola
  • Sliced Bananas
  • Sliced Strawberries
  • Fresh Blueberries
  • Goji Berries
  • Coconut Flakes
  • Honey
 
Blend the base ingredients up until it reaches a thick, consistent texture. Pour this mixture into your favorite bowl. 
 
To complete the rest of the bowl, start by adding in your granola. Add a ring of sliced bananas and a couple of sliced strawberries. Sprinkle in your blueberries and goji berries. To top it all off, garnish with coconut flakes and a drizzle of honey!

Tips:

  • Always add more fruit toppings if desired for that extra boost in health!
